The purpose of Lakeview Christian School is to:

  1. Be a Christian educational institution that is grounded on the historic Christian doctrines and practices of the Church as presented in the Discipline of the Wesleyan Church;

  2. Provide students an education in a Christian atmosphere of caring instruction that meets or exceeds the standards prescribed by the Association of Christian Schools International and the State of Indiana;

  3. Instruct students on the historic Christian doctrines and practices of the Church with particular focus on the doctrines of grace, salvation, and Christian living—the call to love God with one’s whole being and to demonstrate that love to one’s neighbor;

  4. Produce graduates who are grounded in the Christian faith, academically prepared for either further training or entrance into the workplace, and fully aware of their duty to serve God in today’s society.
