Sixth grade | LaTisha (Tish) Ivory | B.S.
 
“I teach because I love watching students grow and learn”.
 
Mrs. Ivory joined Lakeview’s team during the 2016-2017 school year. She has ten years’ experience working in education and obtained her B.S. from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Seventh grade | Debra Harsh | B.S.
 
“I am a product of Christian education.  I attended a Christian school from 4th grade through 12th grade and then attended a Christian college.  I know first-hand the value of a Christian education.”
 
Ms. Harsh has a passion for serving middle school and high school students and appreciates impacting students’ lives both spiritually and academically. She has over 25 years’ experience in education and has a B.S. from Clark Summit University and a M.A from the University of Indianapolis. She is an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University and has a lifetime ACSI certification.
 
Eighth grade | Charlotte Dubois | B.S., M.Ed.

“I believe the Lord called me to teaching many years ago as I sat at my kitchen table with my mother helping her earn her GED/high school diploma.  I’ve always loved learning as a child/adult, and I’ve always loved helping others learn and overcome the obstacles in their lives.”
 
This is Charlotte’s fifth year teaching at Lakeview. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and is an active member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church, where she attends bible study and the young adults ministry.
 
Ninth  grade | Alex Goins | B.S., M.A.
“I genuinely care about our students, and I devote myself to learning so that I can be an effective teacher. As I learn and grow, I hope students will be challenged to critically think about life and examine their faith. God works in all things, and I hope to convey that in my teaching.”
 

Mr. Goins joined our team at the start of the 2017-2018 school year and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to profess His faith and integrate Biblical principles into teaching. He is an active member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church and is passionate about seeing students grow in their faith.

 
Tenth grade | Dave Bagley | M.Div.
 
this is one reason why I teach, I like to learn and do new things. What I learn, I want to pass on to someone else who could benefit from my process.”
 
Mr. Bagley has a M.Div. and 10 years’ experience in education. The 2017-2018 school year will mark his 4th year teaching at Lakeview. He holds a Transition to Teaching from Indiana Wesleyan University and an IDOE license in Secondary Art and Social Studies. His interests include art, bible, science, space exploration, marine & land animals, philosophy & metaphysics, volleyball, football, and archery.
Eleventh grade | Rebecca Shrontz | B.S
 
“My favorite part of teaching is watching that struggling student finally reach their ‘aha’ moment. Nothing is more exciting than seeing a student’s hard work end in success.”
 
Mrs. Shrontz has a B.S. in physical education and health from the University of Southern Indiana where she played four years on the women’s soccer team. This will be her sixth year at Lakeview. She has two children who attend Lakeview. Allen is entering third grade and Reagan is in preschool.
 Twelfth grade | Jim Warren | B.A.
 
“People are eternal and I am a huge believer in the value of Christian education. I feel blessed to be able to pray with students and integrate faith into our learning together.”
 
Mr. Warren met his wife Colleen while attending Olivet Nazarene University, where he received his B.A. in physical education. He has twenty years coaching experience in track and cross-country, half of which is at the university level and half at the high school level, and is excited about implementing track and cross-country at LCS.
