Dr. Karl Gauby | Board Member

B.A., B.S., M.S., J.D., Ph.D.
“Lakeview Christian School’s administration, faculty and staff have many employment options but ‘choose’ to work at Lakeview. For them, working at Lakeview is not a job, it is a calling, and each individual is personally committed to the school’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, fulfilling the school’s Purpose., and helping students achieve expected student outcomes.

Dr. Gauby shares the vision that Lakeview Christian School students will be grounded in God’s Word, equipped with a Christian worldview, and challenged to achieve academic excellence as they prepare to use their gifts and abilities effectively to follow God’s plan for their lives.

Ps. Tim McClellan | Board Member
The Bible teaches us that there is wisdom in the counsel of many so it is in the context of a small group called the LBA that we share ideas, study the Word, pray for wisdom, and cast vision for the ministry.  This is a marvelous privilege.”

Pastor McClellan is the Senior Pastor of Lakeview Wesleyan Church and has nearly 50 years’ experience working in ministry. Three churches at which he served prior to coming to Lakeview also had Christian schools, fostering an interest and joy in partnering with Christian schools. He believes LCS has the opportunity to encourage and nurture many young lives in knowing Christ as Savior and developing and maintaining a Christian world view as they prepare for a life of serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

In 2017, John assumed a full-time position on Lakeview’s team after careful prayer and consideration. His responsibilities include finance oversight for the church, school, and counseling center. With a dedication and commitment to serve alongside others in the mission of furthering the kingdom of God, we look forward to the great things God will do through John.
